Project Description

Hussain’s grant plan is to train 10 athletes to be unified leaders in different areas (assistant coach, athlete spokesperson, health messenger) based on their preference. To accomplish this, experts will host 8 workshops. Hussain also plans to work on ending discrimination and bullying towards people with Intellectual Disabilities by doing an awareness campaign in one of the largest malls in Bahrain. During the campaign, he hopes to collect 5000 pledges for the Spread the Word Campaign. This will target different segments of the community encouraging them to include people with intellectual disabilities, stop using harmful words, and to engage with them on social media.
