Project Description

Yeruult’s grant plan is to have at least 5 athlete leaders participate in the planning, organization, and facilitation of the first National Youth Leadership Forum. Athletes who played a meaningful role in the forum will attend TV and radio shows to raise awareness and promote Special Olympics in Mongolia. Some athlete leaders will assist clinical doctors as health messengers. Other plans include athlete leaders helping with planning, organizing, and marketing, unified leadership training for directors of unified schools, and teaching about inclusion and unified leadership for leaders of major sponsor companies. The plan also includes taking a leading role in organizing a unified volleyball competition, publishing an athlete leaders’ story book, training athlete leaders as coaches, having athletes speak at events, and inducting a new athlete leader board member.
